James McCusker Orchestra at the National Arboretum


Join the James McCusker Orchestra for a free afternoon concert at the National Arboretum Village Centre. Surrounded by one of the world’s largest collections of endangered trees, and overlooking the Canberra skyline, come and experience an afternoon of relaxed music.

Conducted by Shilong Ye, JMO will perform orchestral classics such as Handel’s Music for the Royal Fireworks, Brahms’ Hungarian Dance No.5 and Faure’s Pavane in F-Sharp Minor. This will be matched with Klaus Badelt’s Pirates of the Caribbean and sections from Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music.
