Adult Contemporary Singing Group
A fun tuition group for adults who love to sing!
Tuesdays 6:30 - 7:30pm
Wanting to take your shower-singing out of the bathroom and into the classroom? Our adult contemporary singing group is a fantastic way for singers of any skill level to learn in a friendly group environment, whilst developing both musicality and self-confidence. This singing group will encourage you to expand and enrich your musical repertoire.
Says one singing group participant:
“Every so often when I’ve had to scramble to get to singing class I think about whether I can commit the time, but by the time I leave, I’ve had such a good lesson, there’s no way I’m going to stop.” – Anne
Music For Canberra believes strongly in the importance of performance in improving the self-confidence and musical ability of students of all ages, and singing group participants who would like to are certainly encouraged to participate in our member concert events (but are under no pressure if they don’t wish to).
Older adult students who have availability during week days may wish to instead consider either our Allegro or Vivace Choirs for adults 55+ (which take place on Tuesdays at Tuggeranong Arts Centre and Friday mornings at Ainslie Arts Centre respectively, 10:30am – 12:30pm with conductor Sarahlouise Owens).
If you would like to find out more about our singing or other group lessons for adults, please contact us at the office by calling 02 6182 0030 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. You can view the full current Music For Canberra program to find out what other classes we offer.
