Experience the joy of music through singing, movement and percussion in our Early Years Music Play program!
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday with Barbara Jerjen.

Through singing, movement and percussion, children are introduced to the fundamentals of music, pitch and rhythm in a supportive and fun group environment.

They learn a range of singing, rhyming, action and movement games, and the basics of reading musical notation in the older age groups, as well as gaining an introduction to a group tuition environment. These classes are a great foundation to go on to learn “grown up” instruments when they’re a little older, and many of our instrumental tuition teachers who have students who started out in Music Play report accelerated progress on their chosen instrument.

In groups of five to ten children of similar age and experience – with parents and carers encouraged to participate with their children – our Music Play classes are designed to give children a positive first experience with music in a fun, relaxed and stimulated environment.
