Through singing, movement and percussion, children are introduced to the fundamentals of music, pitch and rhythm in a supportive and fun group environment.

They learn a range of singing, rhyming, action and movement games, and the basics of reading musical notation in the older age groups, as well as gaining an introduction to a group tuition environment. These classes are a great foundation to go on to learn “grown-up” instruments when they’re a little older.

In groups of five to ten children of similar age and experience – with parents and carers encouraged to participate with their children – our Music Play classes are designed to give children a positive first experience with music in a fun, relaxed and stimulated environment.
