Music Craft is a progression from our Music Play for children 18mths to 3yrs, as young students grow and move through their introduction to musical education.

Through singing, movement and percussion, children are introduced to the fundamentals of music, pitch & rhythm in a supportive and fun group environment.  They learn through a range of singing, rhyming, action and movement games, and the basics of reading musical notation, as well as gaining an introduction to a group tuition environment. These classes are a great foundation to go on to learn “grown up” instruments when students are a little older. Many of our instrumental tuition teachers who have students who started out in Music Play & Music Craft report accelerated progress on their chosen instrument.

In groups of 5-10 children of similar age and experience – with less parental participation than Music Play as children become more independent – Music Craft is designed to give children a positive first experience with music in a fun, relaxed and stimulated environment.
