If you would like to find out more about our Mixed Abilities Program of music lessons, please contact us at the office!
Our Mixed Abilities Program of music groups designed for adults living with disability, use the powerful (and fun!) medium of music to encourage participants to develop skills in coordination, concentration, social interaction and gain self-confidence.
The tutors for this program are music educators and professional musicians with experience working with people with diverse needs, engaging with musical genres & instruments from many cultures.
Participants attend these group sessions with their support workers, who are expected to play an active role in the class. Classes are held at Ainslie Arts Centre.
