The Quantz Youth Flute ensemble is for young people who have been learning flute for 2-3 years or who have achieved a standard of AMEB 3+ or equivalent. Participants should be able to read music competently and be able to play up to G3 on the register.

Players in this ensemble will learn about accurate pitching an intonation, as well as focusing on keeping time and understanding the roles that different registers have in an ensemble.

Joining an ensemble group is a fantastic way for those who are already taking private lessons to meet like-minded players and hone their skills in a fun and friendly group environment.
