Classes are available for young people aged 5 to 16 years.
Recorder is a great first instrument for young musicians. The students develop skills in sight-reading, musical notation, and mastering rhythm, pitch and intonation.
Over the year the young musicians work on mastering their instrument, postural technique, learning more advanced musical notation and sight reading, and playing as part of an ensemble.
Semiquavers (Beginner) Monday 3:45pm – 4:30pm
Crotchets (Elementary ) Wednesday 3:30pm – 4:15pm
Minims (Intermediate) Thursday 3:30pm – 4:15pm
Semibreves (Advanced) Wednesday 4:15pm – 5:00pm
New participants are encouraged to come along for a free trial to make sure the class is at the right level – please contact us to find out more.
