Beginner and intermediate ukulele ensembles for young musicians developing musical skills in a fun and friendly group environment.

Classes are available for young people aged 5 to 16 years.
Tuesdays (beginner and intermediate) 3:45pm - 4:30pm with Katie Cole.

Ukulele is a great first instrument for young musicians. The students develop skills in sight-reading musical notation, and mastering rhythm, pitch and intonation in their ukulele lessons.

Over the course of the year the young musicians work on mastering their instrument, postural technique, learning more advanced musical notation and sight reading, and playing as part of an ensemble.

New participants are encouraged to come along for a free trial to make sure the class is at the right level – please contact us to find out more.

Music For Canberra believes strongly in the importance of performance in improving the self-confidence and musical ability of students of all ages.
