
Music for Canberra’s Summer Holiday Program is a two day workshop at the Ainslie Arts Centre, offering children aged 6 to 12 a variety of age-appropriate, music-themed educational activities.
Participants will be guided by our experienced tutors, giving them an opportunity to explore music and life through:
– Instrument crafting to build creativity and imagination
– Listening activities and rhythm games to develop and enhance social and motor skills
– An introduction to electronic music making and songwriting software to encourage problem solving and self-expression
– Interactive exploration of Orff-Instruments for young children
No previous musical experience is required!

When:
Session One: Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th: 9am – 5pm
Session Two: Thursday 27th and Friday 28th: 9am – 5pm
Cost:
$250 per two-day session
Participants will need to bring:
– A packed lunch and a water bottle
– A hat
– Sunscreen
– Casual clothing – for hands on activities
