Choral Connect
Saturday November 9 10:30AM - 2:30PM
Join us for Choral Connect, a free event where community choirs from around the region come together to perform, share their music, and enjoy a social lunch. Light refreshments will be served.
In 2023, the first-ever Tuggeranong Festival of Choirs, called Music is Magic for Wellbeing, was held. The event was a success, bringing joy to those who participated or attended.
This event is proudly part of Tuggeranong Community Council's SouthFest celebrations.
We welcome anyone to attend.

Mixed Ability Program - Big Jam
Friday December 6 11AM - 1PM
ALL participants in MfC’s MAP Program are invited to attend the Big Jam, and bring their carers, friends and family. Please bring a plate of food to share after the musical activities.
FREE registration for each attendee is essential. Please note that this event replaces all regular classes on Friday December 6.

Dance the Year away! Dress Up Concert

Get ready to groove at Music for Canberra's End of Year Dress-up concert, Dance the Year Away! Put on your sparkly platforms and tease your hair out BIG, because there will be a best-dressed prizes for performers AND audience members. Theme: Disco
There will be two concerts - morning and afternoon. Please double check who is performing in each concert. We invite you to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the oval in between Concert 1 and 2.

Winter Concert
Warm up with a selection of beautiful music performed by Canberra's youth.
Join us for the end of Term 2 performance by the Canberra Youth Orchestra and Music for Canberra's String Stream groups.

There will be a bake stall from 10:00am in the foyer of the Overture hall! Bring some loose change to purchase a delicious treat. All funds will go towards MfC programs.

Sing Together
Music for Canberra invites you to Sing Together, featuring the Canberra Children's Choir, Junior Voices Choir and Training choir – choirs comprised of Music for Canberra's young and budding choristers. This special performance will take place at 5:30pm on Thursday the 4th of July, at the Ainslie Arts Centre Main Hall.
Witness the progression of these young musicians as they showcase the songs they have been learning this Term with Tobias Cole and join us to celebrate the joy of singing together.
Entry by donation, but please register your planned attendance. Donation can be made in advance online at time of registration, or via eftpos/cash donation on arrival.
