Canberra Youth Concert Band

Music for Canberra is introducing the Canberra Youth Concert Band in 2025 Term 3. Open to woodwind, brass, and percussion players, this ensemble is designed for young musicians looking to develop their skills and enjoy playing in a supportive group setting.

Students in years 6-12 are encouraged to enrol.

Conductor of the Canberra Youth Concert Band, Wyana O’Keeffe, has a career spanning over 20 years as instrumental teacher and ensemble director across the public and private systems throughout Australia. Wyana is a vibrant and enthusiastic educator, conductor, and performer, with a passion for sharing her love of music and music making.

Tuesdays 4pm-6pm

Term fee: $200 + annual membership fee
